Song you like from Genres you DONT like

Most people have a favorite Genre. A special type of songs that you like for a certain reasons.

Most people also have a Genre that they dislike for other reasons.

My qustion is, is there any song that you like that belongs in a genre you dislike.

Me? I really don't like Hip-Hop, but I have to admit that some of Eminems songs are damn good.

Well I just like how he doesn't sing about beating prostitutes with a pool que, instead he tends to make fun of society and most recently the rich and famous. There is a lot of truth to his lyrics if you listen to them, but some songs aren't like this and on camera he acts like a guy who beats hookers with a chair like all other rappers.

Wow, really? You don't get it? The question is really simple and straightforward. In a genre you don't normally enjoy, and sometimes despise, what is one song you find yourself surprised to actually enjoy.

Take mine for example. I usually hate pop-music, but I actually really like JoJo's singing voice, and for pop music some of her songs have a good R&B feel to them. Not the best music, but I still find it enjoyable, which surprises me because I usually hate the genre of music her music would be lumped into.

I dislike rap and hip-hop with the burning rage of a thousand suns, but DMX's "Rough Riders Anthem" and Puff Daddy's "Come With Me" keep finding their way into my playlist.

Modern country/western (which for the purposes of this discussion is "Achy Breaky Heart" and anything newer) sets my teeth on edge, but Big and Rich's "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" is pretty good (if only I didn't hear it at EVERY SINGLE DAMN wedding reception or social I go to these days).

Yaza i don't like rap in any capacity, yet i LOVE the flobots, who are a hip-hop group, they're message and flow speaks to me and allows me to ignore the fact that it is in fact a genre i dislike.

We're not talking rocket science. To clarify (if it's necessary), can you think of a song you enjoy from a genre that you predominantly detest?

Hrm, what's my pick... there are very few genre's that I dismiss outright. I guess one could go with heavy metal, I'm really not a fan. With that said, I've enjoyed a lot of Motorhead songs.
