After listening to "Goodbye horses by Q lazzarus" I have come to the conclusion that I need a song(s) perfect for my stay at a mental hospital if I ever do go to one.Which has brought me to ask what song(s) would you like to be played during your stay in a mental hospital. Here are my picks.

I would take any and all of the songs I own for any occasion, but if you want a 'weird' or 'mad' song, I'll give you this:

"I'm Going Slightly Mad" by Queen. Or, depending on the hospital, "Bodies" by Drowning Pool or "The Time Has Come" from Devil May Cry 4.

But more seriously, probably every visual novel soundtrack I own.

Are we aiming to make me more insane, or to keep me sane?

Bah, fuck it, either way I would want to listen to Cardiacs.

Radiohead's Climbing Up the Walls.

It's actually inspired by Yorke working as an orderly in a mental hospital. It's also immensely creepy.

I think this song has a rather insane charm to it, trying listening to this stuff all damn day long.

Here's another that might just sum up a patients day at a mental hospital:

Sure, they would fit better in a rehab center, but still fit alright for the crazies.

This should serve you well

And perhaps you should actually watch One flew over the cuckoo's nest, mental home or not, because it's a bloody good movie.

But why do you think you're going to be sent to an asylum that probably won't even have an open mic?

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot

Screenager, or Yes Please by Muse. Both are very fitting. or Psycho by System of a Down... although not as much.

Jerry Samuels or Samuelson, sang that (called Funny Farm) under the name Napoleon XIV, great song and I used to always root for it for the funny five on Dr Demento back in the day.
