Faith No More - Evidence
Reminds me of some pretty bad times from the past, but I still love that song.

Offspring - Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)
Reminds me of my childhood; some of the best times I had happened to this song.

Radiohead - Exit Music (for a Film)
Reminds me of when I was younger and me and my dad were in the car early in the morning, driving over the moors. Weird how it seemed to fit the mood...

Tenacious D - Karate
Reminds me of a friend of mine who is no longer with us.

Anything Blink 182 reminds me of being 15, drinking my face off down the beach with my mates. Good times... good times.

The only important one I remember is this one:
The whole Just Be album by the way. I'm usually not a trance/dance listener, but I do love that album, it's really melodic. But that album was pretty much the soundtrack of an a-ma-zing holiday in the Dordogne region in France.

Each time I listen to a song from that album it brings me back to it. The Grotte du Grand Roc, Les Eyzies, Roque Saint-Christophe, canoeing on the river Vézère, prehistoric rock paintings, all those stunning images are reawakened by that album. Gods I want to go back there.

There are a pretty large amount of songs that bring memories, all of them bad memories.

Wow. I didn't think there would be so many posts on my first thread. I feel kinda good. But yeah, there are a lot of songs that bring back bad memories. I guess music is an... out(something) forgot the word XD but anywho. Anybody got a plethora of songs that bring back good memories?

For me there's "Stay" by SafetySuit that reminds me of not getting any sleep at night but waking up at like 2am to see a beautiful moon and star filled sky because I was watching MTV when it came on.

And then there's "Move, Shake, Drop" by DJ Laz which reminds me of a karate demo which was AWESOME!!!

& The last one for now there is "I'M NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND BABY" by 3OH!3 which reminds me of a bitchin' 8th grade. Year I graduated from middle school and it's just the bus rides to and from school that I would listen to it because it's when I got my first MP3 player(Which I still have). But just mornings on the bus pondering some pretty cool thoughts like; If I had the chance to save the world how would I go about doing it, If I had to choose somebody in a certain situation which super power would I choose(For each situation).

The song that I can't listen without remembering one time when my friend and I ran from the bus when it was raining (listening to it) is "Ten Speed and God's Blood" by Coheed and Cambria.
Apart from that one, there are probably lots more that I'll remember specific things while playing, but I can't jog my mind right now.

Others would be songs I listen to ALOT during exam time like "I summon you" by spoon, "Bliss" by muse, "Karma" by Kamelot and many many songs by Sonata Arctica.

Keane's "Everybody's Changing" definitely has picked up a memory or two.

It really knocked me on my ass (emotionally) because It made me think of life... too much, I think. A lot of my friends are either in the military, pregnant, moved away for good or something else. My 1st GF broke up with me in December 08 after 5 Years. So everytime I hear the song, or I play it on Guitar, It strikes a chord (No pun Intended) with me about how much everybody has changed. Makes me sad, considering I'm doing nothing with my life, I haven't moved from out of my folks house and I'm not dating, I feel like I'm right back to where I was in High School (I'm 19).

The Eagles "New Kid in Town" does it to me as well.
After the breakup (See Above), I've remained Single (I can't replace what was perfect to me, at least, not now), yet my Ex finds guys. It's not the dating other people thing bothers me, it's that I wonder if any of those guys will make her happy, so I listen to "New Kid in Town", it makes me wonder if any "Johnny Come Lately" will make her happy and will they be as happy with her as I was.

Honorable Mentions:
"Desperado" By The Eagles.
"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin
and "Day After Day" by Badfinger.

Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't Stop Me Now (Queen)---Three guys in a car headbanging and singing while the lone female (the previous one's sister) also laughs almost to tears.
Oh god, I've done that before, except with "Princes of the Universe." And it was also three guys and one female. Curious...?

OT: Yes. Nazerath's "Hair of the Dog."

The only time my school bus driver played the rock station, and the three people I would later consider my best friends sat behind and next to me.

The sad one: "Surrender" by Billy Talent. It's a great song, but I remember the time when I was in a depression because of a girl that I had a big (relatively big) crush on whenever I hear it.

The happy one: "Alias" and "Trigger" by In Flames. They remind me of the first time I went to an In Flames concert. One of the best days of my life (the best one being the second In Flames concert).

Holy Diver by Dio some of my friends and I know that song off by heart, get hammered and were singing along as loud as possible to match the sound being up as loud as possible. Also one song by Limp Bizkit that my brother was playing while I was playing Alundra. Every time I hear "do you think we could fly? well I do!" fighting lizardmen in Alundra creeps it's way into my mind.
