Onde Sensuelle by Mathieu Chedid. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzfntq6TM6U&feature=related]
I don't know what the lyrics translate to from French, but the funky music, his weird hair and outfit, and the bizarreness going on around him perfectly capture what is usually going on in my head when I see someone I like.
And at most other random points throughout the day. But to point...
(I grew up speaking French and English at home.)
I still hold the sensual feel of your lips
your lips on mine
so strong and so beautiful
Your philosophies into my breath, the words
Feathers hover around you in waves
sticking to my skin, flooding my mind
I don't know what to think
There is no answer anymore, so I await collapse
Can I reach you again?
Your sensual waves,
you gave me wings
So can we meet again
and become one in the sky
You made love twice (as much as before)
unsettled me with your mystic waves
Have you come for a reason,
do you have a name? Will I not gain...
Can I reach you again?
Your sensual waves
you gave me wings
so can we meet again
and become one in the sky
I tried my best to make it make sense, but there is always a lost in translation aspect with music.
waves(onde)- I'm guessing can refer to a womans curves, but I speak cajun french which is far removed from French French in slang.
As for me-
