I agree with this. The quoted seem to lack a sense of humor or depth of reading comprehension. Guess it can't be helped, what with this being the internet and all.xdom125x said:I was operating under the assumption that this thread was just a hyperbolic way of asking "what music are you tired of hearing in youtube videos?".Diamondback One said:I was about to post this. Glad someone has a clear head in this messed up world. I hate the song Baby and Friday as much as everyone else, but dear Altman this is becoming insanity. People are starting to hate the creators of the song and the artists because they dislike the song? That's too far. Dislike the song for crying out loud but leave the artists alone.loc978 said:Nothing. If you get linked to a song you dislike, give it a thumbs down, maybe leave a negative comment if you feel that strongly about it... and move on.
[insert comment on kids today and how they complain over nothing]
Why would we want to ban a song, anyways? Then what stops us from banning other songs just because "we don't like it?" What about the people who hate YOUR songs to death? They're allowed to ban your songs just as fairly then.
Hell, lets just ban all music while we're all at it. It might offend someone in the world. Time to go re-read Fahrenheit 451 now.
Also, about the bolded. Who else are you supposed to hold accountable for crappy music? By writing and/or singing that song, they are agreeing to be held accountable for how good or crappy it is.
I'll take you up on that oneShaggyEdiddy214 said:Let the bodies hit the floor.
Id rather rub sandpaper on my junk than listen to a dude screaming for 3 minutes.
If Bon Jovi screeching in my ear in between some of the dumbest lyrics I've ever heard (every time I hear "when you get drunk I'll be the wine", one of my brain cells kills itself) is "good", then I suppose I am allergic to good music too. It's an allergy I sure don't want any treatment for though, I'll just go back over here and listen to my "bad, allergy attack free" music instead.Aris Khandr said:Are you allergic to good music or something?stormtrooper9091 said:also, every Bon Jovi and Whitesnake related thing in the history of da uneeworse
i only knew it as requiem, when i first saw requiem for a dream. i dont recall seeing it in many videos, but even with my limited youtube time, i'd say orchestra type music (or w/e its called) isnt something that the kiddies would spam, its too epic for them anywayKoroviev said:It may not be of interest to you, but "Requiem for a Tower" is actually a remix of "Lux Aeterna" arranged by a different group of composers for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.icame said:Thats it. It's a legitimately amazing piece of music, but it has been used on every other video I watch.Koroviev said:Do you mean "Requiem for a Tower?" If you're referring to the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack by Clint Mansell, there is no song called "Requiem for a Dream." The theme of the movie is entitled "Lux Aeterna", if that's what you were thinking of.icame said:Requim for a Dream. Honestly, fuck that song.
Such rage! But seriously? "Open your eyes and see, your eyes are open."Frylock72 said:Fuck you, that's a damn good song. Blame Adult Swim for using it in Robot Unicorn Attack.draconiansundae said:Always by Erasure.
Okay, yeah, maybe I overreacted. But I like the song. The music is good, though I'll agree that the lyrics aren't exactly stellar.Such rage! But seriously? "Open your eyes and see, your eyes are open."
The lyrics aren't exactly amazing. But the music video is good for a laugh.
That looked like a last satnd in a zombie game! Also, someone made a Minecraft video with a creeper trap that would do nicely.Easily Forgotten said:I'll have to agree with Bodies.
The only appropriate use for that song:
Hm. Rick Roll as well, but I like the song on occasion.
Oh. Slam, by Pendulum. It's a decent song, but I hear it way way way too much for me to enjoy it anymore.
