Songs that should not be in Guitar Hero/Rock Band

Not sure if this thread has already been made or not but here goes.

What pointless and boring songs should not be in Rock Band/Guitar Hero?
Songs that either have barely any guitar in it at all or songs just so dull you dread to play them.


For example, my least favourite one is So What'cha Want - Beastie Boys (Rock Band 2)

Anyone else?

I play bass in most of my "bands" and I have to agree on "So What'cha Want - Beastie Boys". It's horribly monotonous, even on Expert.

What's the deal with "I Love This Bar - Toby Keith"? My hubby is the little bit country and I'm the rock and roll. He found that tidbit and downloaded it. Country has no place on my rock band... damnit!

Stranglehold by Ted Nugent in Guitar Hero:World Tour. Only song that gave me hand cramp and spawned a saying amongst friends. "Could be worse, could be Ted Nugent" The song also sucked.

Do you know how ignorant you sound? like seriously. There is such a vast resource of songs you could never run out of "good songs". There are 10's of there are 100's of thousands of songs out there, and even more being made every day. So i ask, how could you "exhuast every goood song"

So Santana, The Who, The Eagles, Kansas, Queen, The Police are boring to play and mostly boring to listen to?

I suppose it's "fun" to play only fifth chords or chug on E, while playing solely on 4/4, which is essentially what Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Slayer and Dragonforce do.

PDA by Interpol. Or Interpol by PDA. I forget which was the band and which was the name of the song, but it sucked. Hard. Whenever I started playing that song in Rock Band 2's World Tour mode, I knew I was going to be in for some boredom. It's not particularly hard. It's just boring to play on guitar.

I somehow avoided Visions completely on my run through the career mode, and I don't have that song unlocked at all. I heard it is the anti-fun.

you do know i said guitar hero and not real guitar because no matter what its like to play on real guitar metal is fast and fun to play on guitar hero

Hah, I feel like an ass now.
It's just that I don't picture lots of gamers frothing at the mouth for Guitar Hero: Pat Benatar. It's not that her songs are bad, I just think they're a bit... dull. Perhaps monotonous is the appropriate word.

Fifth chords in an actual guitar usually translates to Green-Yellow, Red-Blue or Yellow-Orange chords in Guitar Hero/Rock Band. Which is equally boring.
Being fast doesn't equal being good, or fun.
