'Windmills' by Toad The Wet Sprocket always does the trick for me. (No vid here, because youtube is being a dick again.)

However, the most soothing song I've ever heard is this one:

Those are all good but I don't think anything can ever contend with this:

Maybe these songs might change your mind :D

Not even close. I've never heard anything that's even come close to Sang Real.

Huh. I just posted this a second ago somewhere else, but regardless...

This is my favorite song, and it's not likely to be deposed anytime soon.

Soft acoustics and girls with pretty voices are at the top of my musical preferences.

Well as I recall, most people like that old time rock and roll because it is the kind of music just to soothe the soul, and reminisce about the days of old.

Very well.
I shall compile a spoiler tag full of songs.

There are more but these are the best ones for me.
I have a present for you:

That is amazing! Thanks for linking that.

Noone ever seems to remember that one.

Shame it's so short. :(

Currently my favourite song.

Listening to this to chill out at the moment. Such a laid-back tune, I love it.

Any Elbow or Morphine usually relaxes me although I don't know why I bother putting the videos in when I can't help but think that no one will give them a listen...

M4 part II by the Faunts.
I've seen them live before, they're a local Edmonton band, but they've become a lot more popular since this song was included in the credits of Mass Effect.
