It doesn't have to be your favourite, just a song that you will always stay as a greaty in your mind. For me, it's placebo - every you every me, far from the best song ever, but just so mind boggling addictive.

Silent Hill II's "Promise." Far from the best song ever made but one that'll easily follow me for life.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you..."
The funny thing is that I hate 80s pop but I absolutely love that song. Damn you, Rick Astley, you sexy *****, you sexy sexy *****. I'm not attracted to the man, but his sexiness is undeniable.

Battle without Honor or Humanity. It always brings me back to Kill Bill Vol. 1, which was my favorite film for a long, long time.

Life in plastic, it's fantastic!

For me, it would have to be Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. It's one of the only songs that will have me singing it from start to finish at the drop of a hat.

Off-topic: Where did the expression "at the drop of a hat" originate?

Holst - Mars, Bringer of War; Jupiter, Bringer of Jollity
Ralph Vaughn Williams - Fantasia on a Theme
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Moonlight Nocturne; Dracula's Castle; The Tragic Prince
Sloan - Live On; Who You Talkin' To?
Nickel Creek - When In Rome; Eveline
Chris Thile - The Beekeeper
Isaac Hayes - Theme From Shaft; Walk On By

A lot more, but these songs in particular are so engraved in my memory it'll take a lot of head trauma to pull them out.
