All of us have our own tastes in music, genre's that we gravitate towards more than others. But there's also genre's that we just can't seem to like 90% of the time, my question is, would you like to share the other 10%?

For me, I'm rather boring in terms of the genre I hate, and that's rap, I also can enjoy country songs at times but very few of them are ones I like enough to want to listen to often.

A country song that I always seem to enjoy listening to is Beer For My Horses.

It makes me think of the stories and games that have one person or a small group trying to fight against injustice.

And the other song I'll share is the one and only rap song I like, Look Pimpin.

I honestly don't know why this is the only one I like, I guess it just got everything right in terms of what sounds good to me.

Not a fan of deathcore at all, but Born of Osiris' album "The Discovery" was actually kinda cool.
Hell, it had some melodys and wasn't all single note breakdowns, so that alone makes it the Mozart of deathcore.

I've got two and they are not certain songs in a genre but a bands in a genr

I dislike the the constant screaming death metal genre usually except for Amon Amarth who are fucking awesome.

30 Seconds to Mars is the only band in punk, alternative, and rock genre that I flat out refuse to remove from my iPod. I love me some Jared Leto...no matter how much of an asshole he is.

By this point I have so many songs of different genres I like there isn't much that's utterly out of place even though I primary listen to metal, electronic rock and alternative bands...though I am terrible at differentiating genres and there are genres I've just not listened too at all. I don't like any rap songs (not that I can think of right now anyway) though some songs may have short sections of it but to be fair I don't listen to much so I could probably find one I like if I really looked. I tend not to like very slow songs. I need a beat or I get bored with it.

So maybe this? It's slower than I can usually stand and I'm not religious.
Quest for Camelot FTW

there is also this
I'm not quite sure why I like it. It sounds a bit...muddy for lack of a better term but it still makes me feel good listening too it.

I kinda feel like I should be ashamed for liking quite a few of Britney Spears songs but fuck it.

I love the Megami Tensei games' soundtrack, but I hate pop and some rock - which are the main inspirations for the soundtrack in the first place.

Good old Toby Keith. Politics aside, a good tune is always a good tune.

Now me, I'm not a fan of metal or whatever the genre is called, but I really like "Let The Bodies Hit the Floor." Not posting a link 'cause we've all heard it already.

"We're in this Together" by Nine Inch Nails. You can thank the trailer for The Avengers for that.

Also, Macklemore's entire discography make up the only hip-hop songs I listen to regularly.

I dislike rap and pop. However I love Young Jeezy, he is either self aware or so bad it's funny.

As for pop songs, the term 'pop' covers way too many. My current favourite is:

REALLY not into death metal... But, Dethklok, in general... The ONLY exception so far...

Don't own any country songs[footnote]except if they've been on an Adult Swim bump...[/footnote]... However, this song always has a place in my heart:
I would sing this song alongside my Asian country fan of a friend when we both went to summer camp... (Such sweet memories back then...)

...Every other genre has been either tolerable or enjoyable... Either way, I probably have multiple songs from those other genres, anyway... Although I seem to lack in owning any current mainstream music, so take that as you will, I guess...

I don't really like modern R&B but for some reason I really like Anonymous by Bobby Valentino

Also not a song but an artist, as I like Johnny Cash but I really don't like Country. One Piece At A Time is probably my favourite.

Miley Cyrus, "Party In The USA," though I hate pop music.

The Dixie Chicks, "Goodbye Earl," though I hate country.
