To my secret shame, though, there happens to be 1 Tailor Swift song that I really like: "You Belong With Me"
Sneaky little ninja...

Anyways, I have no idea why I like the song so much: I despise country and modern pop music, both of which it is, but it's so damn catchy! [small]Plus, the video's kind of cute in a ridiculously cheesy way... Yeah, I just said that.[/small]

Thank you for that. I also find humor value in that "sorry" sounds a lot more like "shawty".

More shameless K-Pop.

Practically all rap is ear-bleeding to me, so i should hate the lot.

Except Eminem's "Without Me" which i like. I dunno why but it's an opinion a lot of people i ask seem to share.

These kinds of threads annoy me. They make it seem like listening to a wide range of music is a bad thing.

"What song are you ashamed of liking?"

"What genre of music do you secretly enjoy?"

Buuuullshit.
Some people don't like a wide range of music but enjoy a few different songs that deviate from what they listen to most of the time,Thats what this thread is about,Don't like it then why'd you come here?No point in making a post if you don't have anything to contribute.Tsk tsk tsk.
Which I believe isn't a very good way of going about things. Why listen to only one type of good music when I can listen to a whole lot of good music.

And that is the point I am trying to put across, something that I feel is relevant to this thread.

I have quite the soft spot for "Bad Romance" by Lady GaGa. I dislike every other song of hers but "Bad Romance" is just so damned catchy.

The best answer I can give is that not everyone thinks that all music is good.

I'm a hardcore atheist to the bone, but Matisyahu -- King Without a Crown is seriously catchy, and really quite good, a beautiful mix of truths and his love for his religious Insanity:

My tatse in music is pretty open and I can't really say that I've got specifically hated or favoured genres. But if I had to pick one it would be this

Pretty much describes my life to a 99% accuracy. Meanwhile, screamo and hardstyle is my usual game.
Okay, that song kicks ass.

On-topic, Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.
Also Baby by Justin Bieber, and if you took that last one seriously, you should suffocate yourself.

And why should i ever dislike any song by default? I mean, is there some memo i missed that tells me which songs i can like and which of them i have to hate? If i like it, i like it. I dont spend hours pondering about who the artist was, what other songs they made and what genre they represent.

The songs Decembers by Howthorne Heights and True Romance by Silverstein, the two most depressing songs ever. . . besides My Imortal by Evanessence

Plenty of Lady Gaga and Timberlake songs. I relly like Gaga's politics though, so maybe that helps. Timberlake is just cool as hell (not from his boyband days but when he shaved his head etc). Dude can dance.

Ooh and nor do I, there is a lot of music I don't like, however.. I like a lot of different music.

Although I have found something else stupid about these kinds of threads. Its safe to say a lot of the people who post here are proud of their individuality yeah? So why the fuck would anyone be ashamed for liking a few Lady Gaga songs? Your such an individual you can't listen to pop songs because your metalhead buddies will make fun on you? Hah!
