I always heralded S&K as Sonic 4, guess now im wrong

Sonic & Knuckles is more... Sonic 3 Episode 2.

The lock on system made them a complete game.

OT: If this is made by the same team that made Sonic Rush, I can't wait!

Originally, S&K and Sonic 3 were supposed to be one game, but they were low on time and a 34 megabit cartridge would have been too expensive. As a result, they released 3 and then finished up the levels in S&K which would be released several months later.
