And after playing the demo I gotta say that I am so hyped for this game now! But how did everyone else feel about it?

I don't plan on buying Sonic Generations, simply because I've never been much of a Sonic fan. However, the series has produced some kickass soundtracks. Chemical Plant Zone is one of my favorites. In fact, I often play it to drown out my roommate's atrocious guitar playing (seriously, the guy only knows four or five riffs and maybe two songs...but that's another topic).

It's a decent remix, but do we actually have confirmation that this is from Sonic Generations and not, as I suspect, someone just using it as an excuse to plug their own work?

I mean, going from your username and the video, it seems you're the guy's manager. And if this was being used in the game, surely you were made to sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Anyway, after playing the demo of Sonic Generations, I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Obviously it's still in development so I won't write it off completely, but it felt a bit lacking in overall polish. The classic Sonic gameplay was there though.

I doubt it's from Sonic Generations, first because the community would be all over it and second because of the piece itself, the buildup is too slow compared to Classic Green Hill, Modern Green Hill and Classic Escape from the City.

Yeah I doubt this is from Generations as well

However I'm quite excited about Generations although I feel a little bit let down by the demo...not because it was particularly bad, but just because we only go to try the 1 quite short act with only one of the two Sonics

Eh. I don't really like it. More and more, Sonic soundtracks lack the memorability of the old Genesis titles. They should have just done themselves a favor and gotten the crew from Project Chaos to do the remix titles. Namely Andreas Kotsamanidis (Snappleman.) His rock remixes of titles are beautifully done, and still manage to capture the pop and jive from the Genesis originals.

Chemical Plant is confirmed and Casino Night seems to be preorder DLC

I'm only looking forward to it if it is coming to PC.

It's likely coming to the PC, GAME UK has it up for preorders and the game was discovered on the Steam registry.
