This is actually not a complaint about the gameplay. im actually really happy with how classic sonic felt to play. It was much better than sonic 4 which I found unplayable and was for want of a better word, balls.

My complaint is the frame rate. I really hope this was just a demo issue but the game hurts my eyes when sonic is moving at any speed. I was wondering if any of you has had this problem because I really want to be able to play this game!

Yer, the colours, speed and graphics made it really hard to play. It meant that I had to guess to whatever was coming from the right side of the screen.

But it didn't hurt my eyes, just made me annoyed.

Is that honestly the complaint?

Did anyone complaining about that actually play the first sonics?

I felt something was still a little off about the physics with the jumping, but still a lot improved over Sonic 4. My main complaint was with the business of the visuals. While they were really pretty, the colors of the assets in the background in most parts matched the foreground. If more atmospheric perspective was applied to diminish the contrast and add more light blue to things in the immediate background, my eyes wouldn't get as lost. The underground parts were fine.

I'm going to guess no, since they basically had the same damn problems.

My only complaint is the delay between pressing "jump" and Sonic Jumping.

Aside from that, I like it. AND THEY BROUGHT BACK THE CLASSIC SPINDASH PHYSICS!!! :D :D :D

- The demo was using the 'havok' engine and not the 'hedgehog' engine the full game is using, so the frame rate was a bit 'iffy'

- There's no demo of Modern Sonic. I had to go to the 'Summer of Sonic' convention to play it.

- Jumping felt a little awkward but was easy to get used to.

- A few areas were scripted

heh, so true, after playing Sonic adventure, its hard to adjust to the speed, playing old 1-3 + knuckles, i didn't notice it, but after playing the demo and 4 episode 1, you do get that feeling, goes to show that 3d sonics weren't ever that bad.

game looks awesome, plays alright, very bright in colour and such detail as well. did seem abit busy in the screen but thats not really a complaint, probably best to dim the colour/reduce tv brightness to make it easier to play.

dissappointed no modern sonic :(.

Its not the fact that its bright colours, or too fast. its something about the quality of the game/frame rate/way that sonic moves through the environment that really hurts my eyes. That isnt a problem I had with any other sonic game ever. and ive played pretty much all the main console ones (not 2006 though)
