It is. The game just has a 'jukebox' that lets you pick what song you want to hear on a stage, and I guess that guy just likes Sonic Boom.Hero in a half shell said:

I've been waiting for a good Sonic game for far too long. Hell, I still play Sonic 3 & Knuckles Collection with the original PC disc every now and then... Looks like I can finally play a modern Sonic game without regrets.

I've been waiting for a good Sonic game for far too long. Hell, I still play Sonic 3 & Knuckles Collection with the original PC disc every now and then... Looks like I can finally play a modern Sonic game without regrets.

You guessed right . Its fun for a warmup before doing something cool and exhousting, like a presentation or a running session. Having Sonic-like sneakers doesent hurt either

Finally got my hands on it.
......Holy cow, it's good. The levels are long and challenging, it has a good sense of flow, Both sonics are a joy to play as, and the challenges are fun.
Not to mention that the decision to give out music as rewards for challenges, and then allow us to play that music at will in any level....That's genius.
My only 2 complaints are the occasional lag (PS3) that freezes everything for a second, and the fact that when naming your skill sets, they put an "&" in between the two words. I wanted my skill set to be called "Blitz Ignition", not "Blitz & ignition"! Aside from that, I rank this game up there right alongside Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
