I really do. People are always wearing Nostalgia Glasses when it comes to Sonic, but he kicks ass according to me and the other part of the fanbase that aren't total idiots (which probably means 4% of it).

Combining sonic adventure with what stuck me as sonic 2 was awesome!
i have high hopes that this will revamp the franchise, god knows it needs it

Probably. That said, I thought the demo sucked. My eyes couldn't keep up with the speed in that weird 2.5D enviroment.

As long as they fix that delay between hitting jump and Sonic jumping, I think it'll be fine. I mean, they brought back the classic spindash physics. That alone makes me jump for joy. And the 3D parts look like Sonic colors, which I loved the shit out of.

Same. I'm part of that 4% too. Yeah, he was in a slump for a while, but aside from Sonic 06, it wasn't THAT bad.
