I was very happy to see that Sonic would be in Brawl.

However, I am not happy that they took advantage of the furor to sneak in a footnote to reporters that Brawl's release date has been DELAYED in Japan [http://kotaku.com/gaming/smash-bros'-delayed/smash-bros-brawl-delayed-features-sonic--online-co+op-309023.php] to January 24, 2008. The United States release date has been changed to "TBD".

As long as they're refining the game, I do not mind much, I just don't like the way they went about doing that without even announcing it on the Smash Bros website.

It would be puzzling if Nintendo decided to push back Brawl until after Christmas.

Regardless of what age you are, Brawl is button mashing combo fun!
At first glance, I thought Smash Bros was like that, as well.

I've only played Melee for about a week, but I can easily recognize that a button masher would lose against a skilled player every single time.

So many newbs to the series use nothing but the B-moves. The experts rarely use them.

Seems so wierd for them to reveal it so late. That, and the general lack of characters we've noticed. (depends on how many are Secret characters though)

And now the United States delay has been confirmed.

February 10, 2008 [http://kotaku.com/gaming/holidays-ruined/super-smash-bros-brawl-delayed-to-2008-in-us-309764.php]

Oh well, at least we still have Super Mario Galaxy.

Or do we?
