Long story short; Double Dragon is £7.99? Are you serious? All of these arcade games are £8, and that's a RIDICULOUS price. There are so many great current games that are cheaper than that.

To be honest, all of their online digital games downloads prices need to be lowered or more sales should happen. The same can be said about Nintendo actually.

have to agree, there are sometimes some god prices. New release games are usually a joke though, particularly ones with boxed alternatives.

I'm not sure where they get off thinking they can charge that much for a 25 year old game. Especially since I got go to steam right now and buy the entire trilogy for the $6(not a sale price either).

Does Sony set the prices or do the IP owners is my question. Because last I checked Arc System Works (same ppl who own Guilty Gear) own the DD IP as well as River City Ransom (which I heard is getting another game). So wouldn't they be in charge of the pricing and sales? I'm pretty sure thats how it works.

EDIT: Note a company called Hamster is responsible for the PS4 licenses of Double Dragon so they would be the ones to blame for the pricing I believe.

Also the God of war 3 remastered is £30 or roughly $45 for no more than a spit n' shine of a game you can get for £3 - 6 on the ps3. Included DLC is only a couple of costumes I hear. The arcade releases do look like cheap cash in, nostalgia bait. Though this is commonplace now.
Whilst we're at it; I used to game on the 360 before...and to be honest, though sony's exclusive games are often better, the ps4's service and security feels a bit slap dash/half-arsed in comparison. I can't put my finger on it, it just feels wonky and loose. The marketplace also suffers from spiritual parkinsons. Not a deal breaker, just more confusing really as I would have thought they've 4 generations of consoles to perfect their interface/OS.

I thought the XMB was perfect personally. Everything was neat and easy to find and packed into appropriate areas. The PS4 dashboard is... shit. Basically. It's literally just a mess. No other way I can see to describe it, it's just whatever you recently used in a line with a file on the end for the rest of it.

Sony should step in with common sense to tell publishers or at least recommend to publishers if pricing is wrong. It's insane that for $6 (roughly £4.20 I believe) you can get the trilogy on Steam when 1 on PS4 is £8.

It's like when Trine 2 Complete Story came out on PSN it was like £15, in the same week I bought it from Humble Bundle for £3 0.0
