I didn't notice the twin sticks before, that's pretty cool. But despite the vague claim of "affordable" Sony has a nasty habit of stopping me at the door retail. I really like powerful portable devices but I have no smartphone(that's iphone for you applephiles that thing steve jobs invented it a few years ago) and no psp, despite me liking it's featureset, I have to face the reality that I don't get that much time to sit down with my portable, most of the time I would have, I spend on my home system/pc.

I don't like the sound of those quotation marks.

It's like the difference between calling spam meat, and "meat".

Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Worldwide Studios, also didn't talk in exact numbers, although he joked that the NGP would definitely cost less than $600.
This just in, NGP priced at $599.95. Shuhei Yoshida commented, "See, under $600!"
I was hoping I'd be the first to make this joke...

I have no intent of BUYING this thing, EVER. It looks uncomfortable and loaded with too many gimmicks, and it's huge. I wanna know how they plan to make it affordable without taking massive losses. I don't see how they can. It just seems like it's impossible to me. I can see this handheld cycle being /way/ one sided in Nintendo's favor.

OW... oh... ow... my arm! You took it! ... Thanks for leaving the leg.
Wait, how do I play it now?

I think it seems rather interesting, so I'll consider it... maybe wait a few years to see if there are enough interesting games on it.
