Finally! I see the death of the annoying screenlook on the horizon. Plus this opens up some other interesting game options that weren't possible when split-screen was literally a screen split.
Listen genius; what do you think it does with the two images produced by expanding the two halves to full-screen? It shows them both at the same time, and what image you see depends on what pair of glasses you're wearing.Daemascus said:Its not the same thing. I remember there was an adapter back in the PS2 days that would stretch out each half of a splitscreen-image and use similar technology to give each player their own "screen".
Granted, it didn't work very well at all, and both players were stuck with a maximum of 30 fps, but still.
