Yup! Spoilers inbound guys! But anywho, for those have seen Winter Soldier, how was the after credit scenes? What did you guys think?

Personally, I never thought that they would show Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as early as they did. It was almost sad seeing them in the state they were in.

Also that after-after credits scene. It was sad seeing Bucky so surprised and vulnerable and finally figuring out his past *^*

So what did you guys think?

Was it really that mind-blowing? Every recent Marvel movie shows you the next bad guy in post-credits. Thanos in Avengers, Collector in Thor 2.

I don't think Bucky's scene added anything really.

I honestly didn't see anything that hasn't already been revealed that I cared about, though then again I don't really care about how the characters look until I can see them in action.

Phase Two seems to be following a new formula: fist post-credit scene is relevant to the next movie, second not relevant at all (almost as if it's an obligation).

I was surprised that Quicksilver was there, given that he's also making an appearance in the new X-men film. That'll be interesting to see how the two versions compare to one another.

Wasn't Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver already confirmed for Avengers 2?

So the first stinger wasn't that much of a shock to me, sepecially after the likes of Thanos

Really? I though the second stinger was more of a 'where are they now?' for certain characters that helped explain what happened without using the Agents of SHIELD series.

Hmm, I didn't even know who the two people in the cells were, or in what way the post credits for Winter Soldier even ties into anything going on.

The one thing I did pick up is the collector in the post credits of Thor: The Dark World was in the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. Thats really the only link I can pick of from the "phase 2" movies.

I was most excited about seeing a man who was clearly Baron von Strucker. Sure, Pietro and Wanda were nice to see, but von Strucker was the real surprise.

Eh, they didn't reveal anything exciting, except for who is in posetion of Loki's staff. I think the twists in the film itself were a tiny bit more important. You know, the whole, "SHIELD is actually HYDRA," thing, and then having Cap getting rid of SHIELD entirely. You know, that's a bit important.

The revelation would've been interesting if I hadn't already known about it from the comics, but it is a shock to see it used in the Movie Universe. I just hope they NEVER roll out the crap story elements from Civil War, Avengers Disassembled (Because Scarlet Witch) or House of M.

They kind of Can't. Avenger's Disassembled revolves around characters who we have never met (Wonder Man, Vision, etc), Civil War would need people from SHIELD (Which doesn't exist anymore) and House of M requires mutants. Which are owned by FOX.

They could always change the story & key characters around a bit to fit their needs, but hopefully that won't fly with Whedon.

I am still incredibly disgusted by the fact Captain America and the Winter Soldier took a dip in the potomec

http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/news/2013/aug/19/even-small-amount-precipitation-dumps-raw-sewage/

The permit application reveals that more than 100 million gallons of overflow are released into Hunting Creek each year at four points in Old Town. That's a mix that includes a vast majority of rainwater mixed with a smaller percentage of raw sewage. City officials estimate that about 10 million gallons of untreated wastewater are discharged into the creek each year, a volume that's shocking to many who have long viewed the city as a leader in environmental sustainability.
