I've been doing a NG+ run in Demon's Souls. Also, been playing a bit of Dark Souls 2. I say "a bit" because a friend started it and then I did so we could talk about it. Thing is, he has very limited playing time and I try not to go ahead of him. It's working out pretty well and we've had some pretty interesting talks about our experiences with the game.

Another how is this game? A boss at work talked about and said it wasn't your standard MMO. You picked pre-build heroes and then ran into a dungeon with them is what he told me. I tried looking up info for myself, but this game seems to give as little info as possible.

Basically like an action-based instance MMO. Much more real-time action based than most MMOs. You pick from some templates for characters and get a few mild customization options, but not too many. It's an alright looking game and the combat is very fluid in general. Right now there's a good event going on for leveling, and new players get pretty decent incentives to level up quickly.

I'm not really sure how to say what I think of it yet since I've only really been playing for a few days and don't know a whole lot about the game besides the patently obvious. But it's worth at least one shot. The level grind is pretty freaking lenient at this point since they're trying to get everyone ready for an update soon that requires you to be near the level cap.

Dug up the old copy of Age of Empires 1. A classic game, but it is sure is challenging. While I'm not raging at Hitties and Minoans, I have also found and hooked up my old SNES (amazing that it still works) and is having tons of fun with the two Lufia games.

Rocking some Assassin's Creed Rogue which I'm loving at the moment.
Otherwise kinda just killing time until I can afford some new parts and jump into The Witcher III, or borrow a PC from NASA. A friend of mine got a new GPU and a free code for the game last week, but it didn't work. So as compensation they gave her two more, and I got one. :3
I've actually played through the entire Ass Creed series in the past month or two and think it's a pretty good series even if the space gods thing goes way off the rails and Brotherhood was shit. Still going to grab Unity and play that, again once my PC is rejuvenated.

I'm currently playing Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines for the first time, wasn't sure at first, but I'm really digging it so far. Playing as a badass vampire with blood magic is awesome (tremere).

Ahh man, such a fantastic game. How far are you? Are you using the unofficial patch?

I really need to play it myself again some time. I've probably finished it 3 or 4 times, but it's always good.

Also, a small (intentionally vague) tip: trust no one. They're (almost) all dicks. Just something to keep in mind.

I've just gotten to Downtown and done some side quests so not that far, I think. And yeah, using the unofficial patch was strongly suggested by the steam-reviews so I'm running that. I also downloaded an improved eyes mod, cause why not.

This seems like a game made for multiple playthroughs. Malkavian and Nosferatu look like they could be very interesting to play. The first for the supposed insane dialogue and the latter for the forced stealth and removed social aspect due to looking hideous.

And I'll keep that tip in mind

Yes, totally. Malakvian dialogue is hilarious and Nosferatu have to adapt in an interesting manner. Ventrue also get some interesting dialogue options thanks to their ability to mind control humans. And all of the different types of vampire get at least a few unique interactions.

I just finished a 100% playthrough of Bravely Default (3DS) and a fantastic trip down nostalgia lane with Republic Commando (PC).

I recently started playing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP).

But as always I have also been playing Kerbal Space Program. Man that game is like a drug problem for me...I can't get enough....

At the moment Trine Enchanted edition is at the moment something I'm playing, it was on sale on the Eshop so I bought it for 8? two days ago.
Waiting for ShovelKnight to go on sale so I can get that one also, Shante Pirates Curse thing is also one I'll get when it's on sale, I hear both are very enjoyable games
Then yesterday was the open Splat00n testing thingy so did a few hours of that, really looking forward to the full game!

My PC broke two months ago and i didn't have enough money to buy new stuff - so at the moment i am on an "Emergency PC" i built from old parts - no graphic accelerator and such. So i am playing mostly old games.

Played a lot "King of the Dragon Pass"
Also, since Flash works, but is a bit slow i can play "Neo Scavenger" - since it's turn-based
and i sorted through my 20+-year old CD's and had a bit of fun with playing "Diablo" and "Loom" and other stuff.

Been playing tomb raider. No, not the 2013 one. The 1996 one. I missed it the first time and I've always wanted to give it a go. It actually holds up quite well. Yes, it controls like arse and the graphics are pretty atrocious by today's standards, but the level design and sense of exploration are really good.

In the new scenario, Arcturus was pretty tough, mostly because of the restrictions and battle conditions, in the Septentrione story, Mizar was the hardest Septentrione and really wears you out.

I think the first game was more difficult, Beldr was absolutely brutal and lets not forget Belberith.

Thanks for the heads up, just finished the 3rd day of the Septentrione story, lovin' it so far. The Seps themselves haven't been too hard yet but that will probably change soon.

Belberith I never found that difficult compared to his comrades, but that may be because I had to grind a fair bit to even be able to damage Belzaboul faster than he regenerates. At least Belberith actually has weaknesses.

I've been addicted to MMOs for some time, and this is a solo-friendly F2P one that has kept me hanging around and putting a few bucks into it every now and then. I mostly farm materials and craft at the moment, while sometimes leveling up my alts a bit.

Source Material - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (port on 360), Shantae: Risky's Revenge (iOS), Dust: An Elysian Tale (PC)
I'm working on a Metroidvania game in my spare time, playing through these for some inspiration; what works, doesn't work, that kind of thing. That and they are damn good games.

Its a Free2Play, Pay2Pantsu team-instanced action game. When it first came over, I felt that it was slight on character choices, but now its pretty good; they've continued to develop and add on more over the years. You have a couple options for developing each character, but generally they fall into specific roles (Melee DPS or Ranged, Tank, etc.) Town lobbies, with teams formed then head out into an instance for your group to bulldoze through then kill a boss, rinse, repeat; kind of like Phantasy Star Online and similar games. Has that horrible type of equipment upgrade system where your chance to fail attempting to upgrade stuff increases at higher levels unless you pay real money.

Overall I give it an appreciative "eh". Good game, fun, not great.

Been playing Lord of the Rings Online again. Played it once before to completion (i.e. completing every quest that was available), but since then they've changed the trait system, removed skills, and added several expansions and quest content (Including all of Rohan and Gondor). So I figured I'd start over and go through it again. About to head into Moria again, which I always enjoyed. Lovely place it was, always liked the Dwarven architecture...
