Has a soundtrack ever inspired you to buy a game, and if so, which one?

I recently heard the Solar 2 soundtrack online, and interested, I purchased the game. My favorite video game soundtrack is from Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and even though I have not played the game yet, the soundtrack alone made me purchase it.
Here is the Soviet Theme in all its glory:

Am I in the minority here, or have many people been influenced by a soundtrack?

Lumines 2 for PSP. I already had the original Lumines, so I knew the gameplay would be the same. I found out that mainstream artists like Gwen Stefani, Fat Boy Slim and Madonna were doing some of the tracks, so it was a no brainer.

Crazy Taxi for Dreamcast. My local arcade had Crazy Taxi, but the speakers were busted, so the experience was ho-hum. I went to another arcade closer to my friends house, and after hearing in ingame soundtrack, I knew I had to buy it.

I was going to buy RE3 because of it, but then all of my friends said the game sucked, so I just got the soundtrack.

A game's soundtrack is what often gets me interested in a game in the first place. I would not have been as drawn to Persona 3 or 4 if I had only seen screenshots and read about gameplay, nor would I have been very interested in a game like Lost Odyssey.

But yeah, the most recent game I picked up, picked up mainly because of how it sounded:
More stuff [http://fruitbatfactory.bandcamp.com/].
The music in that trailer is what had me reaching out for my wallet. I had instantly become attracted to the idea of a funky sounding turn-based strategy.

If anyone's interested, this game is being sold as a part of an indie bundle [http://bundle-in-a-box.com/], and it's up on Steam Greenlight [http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92918806].

I got into the Metal Gear series because the main theme is so god damn awesome, so I'd say the soundtrack makes a difference for me.

I'd prefer it if a game has an amazing soundtrack, but I've never actually been influenced by it, to be perfectly honest. I always end up hearing the soundtrack during the game.

I got into Mass Effect because I heard the music from the game in a machinima back in 2010. After researching it further I figured I'd give it a try. I bought both games new. Needless to say I fell in love with the series. So there you have it companies: a random kid using your music to spruce up his non-profit youtube video got me into buying not one, but two new games from you. That's called free advertising. Certain copyright nutjobs should take note.

I heard bits and pieces of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney's soundtrack before I bought it. Including the legendary Cornered.

From the very little bits of gameplay I saw I knew that the game's sense of melodrama and finger pointing would be my kinda thing. Such an awesome game

I bought Hotline Miami after someone linked me their soundtrack on soundcloud. It blew me away and it was on sale on Steam at the time so I just went ahead and bought it.

Didn't regret it. Its one of the best example of music accompanying gameplay. Going on a killing spree listening to this is just amazing.

Strangely enough, after I heard some of the music for the Devil May Cry: DMC trailers, I am suddenly looking at the game under a new light.

I'm starting to accept the game as a single entity and not part of a continuity, able to accept any fault and surprises that it might reveal unto the world, as well as to make a name for itself.

We'll always have Dante, so let's see what DMC Dante can bring to the franchise, aside from an attitude and a killer soundtrack.

A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda.

Unfortunately the game turned out to be pretty crappy and I quit after a short while. The soundtrack is brilliant though.

Oh yes, NieR has one of the best soundtracks there is:

...but I haven't played it yet :C

The games I have played, initially only because of their soundtracks, are:
Gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZctTtRXdaEg&t=9m31s

...and as always, the Final Fantasy series, although the last good game was VI... :(
...oh, and "played" doesn't mean "finished" :p
