Barbet Schroeder's 'La Vallee' was kind of a boring snooze fest. The soundtrack by Pink Floyd, released as the album 'Obscured By Clouds', is fucking awesome.

Final Fantasy XII. Amazing soundtrack in terms of composition and blend that far surpassed a game far too reliant in grinding to achieve more than twenty hours of gameplay. I can listen to the music from XII time after time, I can't stand the game more than once.

My favorite thing I like about the Halo games is the music pieces. I think the music from LoTR compliments the movie very well though, on its own its still a masterpiece of art.

I was going to say, Whilst you may or may not like Halo. Most have to admit that the main theme is damned impressive work.

The music from Cowboy Bebop. All the songs fit the theme of the episode and the show. I would also have to recommend the soundtrack to Fooly Cooly as well.
