But I think we are tired of staying in the ship.

"Ok, go ahead. I will take up the rear."

I led the way to the warehouse. The two miles took a while to walk, but we finally made it to the warehouse. Inside lay our prize...and possibly, the last job of our lives. Taking a breath, I walked in, revealing a darkened room with two doors on either wall. "Which way should we go, Captain?"

Tim clutched his pistol. This warehouse looked like the perfect place for an ambush to him. Tim tensed his muscles, ready to spring into action at the first signs of trouble.

Jessica gripped her gun tightly followed the others. Jessica was tense, this was the first time she had left the ship to help with a mission.

"I am terrified."

"Left, I guess." I walked to the door and opened it, revealing an extremely dark passage. Taking the first step forward, I cried out as I fell into a pit, falling several feet into a body of water. "Watch the first step, it's a doozy."

I tried to stay afloat for as long as I could, but was starting to tire out. "Captain, can you try to find some rope in the room we entered from? I'm starting to sink!"

"Captain pass me your cane, thank you"

I held the walking stick out to Antonia hilt first as I crouched at the edge of the pit, I hoped it would reach. "Grab onto this, if nothing else you'll stop stinking, I mean sinking, sorry"

There was a odd smell hanging in the air, like engine fumes only more subtle. I decided I'd see what my multi-tool would find after we were all on the same level.

"Wait here. I'll go and see if I can find some rope." Jessica slowly walked away, making sure that she didn't make any loud noises.

She looked around for a few minutes until she found some rope, walking back to the others she heard some unwanted noises, soldiers footsteps. She quickly took cover behind some crates and waited until the soldiers passed.

"This is ridiculous. We're walking around here, and doing nothing. Whats that smell?
"I don't know. Just shut the hell up and keep your eyes open."

Jessica sneaked back to the others and dropped the rope to Tonie.

"Hurry!"

"Don't worry, I've got you." I said as I ran to help Jessica out with the rope. Or at least attempted to, not sure how useful I would be in this situation. Regardless, I grabbed the end of the rope and helped out as well as I could.

After a harrowing climb, I managed to use the rope and pull myself out of the pit. Panting, I looked at the others. "All right, so, this way is a no-go. And there are definitely traps. We'll have to be on our guard." I headed to the other door, carefully opening it. "Who wants to go through first?"

I handed back the cane to James and looked at my scanner.
I stood re-reading the results hoping it was wrong, but scan after scan showed the same thing.

"Um, everyone?" They turned to look at me, "The air is toxic so we need to be out of here in an hour, and the air is flammable so if we let off a shot our guns will explode. Its the exact ratio of gases to cause explosive failure in standard wepaons, which is a very exact amount."

All the toxins needed where those made by old ship engines, back in my old hospital we got a lot of sick pilots who hadn't used a good air filter. As such everybody in the ER had to know what the signs were somebody had been over exposed, and what advice to give for the future.

"Shit, this mission is going sour! I will just slow you down, go and hurry up. I will watch the door and radio if anyone is coming. Go now and hurry!"

I hurried through the other door. "Let's go!" I saw three doors. "Someone, check each one!" I ran to the door straight ahead, opening it and disappearing into the darkness.

I decided that time was of the esscence and ran for the door on the left, giving no one else a chance to go for it, as I didn't want to potentially waste time waiting for poeple to volunteer.

As soon as I entered, I had no idea what to expect, and still couldn't expect anything inside as it was so dark.
