I sat in my room, bored due to lack of anything to do on this ship. You'd be surprised how little there actually is for a hacker to do on a ship relating to computers actually. It's fairly short.
"Now, we're going to get them back." Came in on the intercom. Instinctively, I looked up at the speaker in the corner of my quarters, ready for the message to continue. "We're getting paid twice the delivery fee, but the risk is much greater. Seeing as I got shot on the first job, that's saying something."
I sighed, and heaved myself out of bed, before heading over to the door.
Guess the captain may have something to say about this.
I walked out, into the corridor and decided to go looking for James.

I moved back from this stranger, with no idea who he was, nor was he doing on the ship. He was a fairly tall man, with brown hair and what appeared to be eye implants. He didn't appear to know me as well.
"Oh. Hey. Sorry, I..." He stammered out of his mouth, before grinning and sticking his hand out. "Sorry - I'm Chris, the new pilot."
"Oh, you're the pilot Tonie hired?" I asked. I then decided to grip his hand and shake it. "Pleased to meet you, Chris. I'm Jake, I'm the computer guy and will do anything else I'm offered to do. You have no idea how little work a hacker has on a ship."
This followed by an awkward silence, so I decided to break it. "So, you going to see that captain then?"
"Oh. Hey. Sorry, I..." He stammered out of his mouth, before grinning and sticking his hand out. "Sorry - I'm Chris, the new pilot."

"Yeah, I guess." I responded to Chris, before attempting a slight smile of satisfaction at him. "We don't usually go back to old jobs, especially as this one was fairly risky on our end of the work. But, if we have to." I shrugged at him, before hearing Tonie over the intercom.
"Captain, the new pilot's on his way to see you."
I looked at Chris. "Well, I guess I'll be seeing you around, Chris." I shook his hand and carried on walking down the corridor, assuming that Tonie only wanted Chris to talk with the captain.

James quickly stood up, "I don't know where Antonia is getting this ridiculous idea, but we are not getting those damn slaves back! Make an anonymous phone call to the military or something!" James grabbed his cane and began hobbling out of the room, "It is not our place to free those slaves, we are under-armed and under-trained and I will not put my crew at risk! If she thinks she runs this ship and can make decisions about the crew willy nilly, she is very wrong!"
Working on the engine, I could hear the captain shouting and winced. He was on his way to chew me out, I was sure. Not the first time, but this may be the worst time.
James stormed into the engine room with Chris following suite, we searched for Antonia,
"Antonia, I need to speak with you... now!" he demanded as she emerged from behind the engine, "What is this I hear about wanting to get the slaves back? We are not breaking into a military organization!"

James slammed his cane on the floor and went face to face with Antonia, "This is my ship, not yours. You may get a contract, but if I do not approve it, we do not do the smuggle." James backed up a bit, "This mission provides nothing to the crew except a death sentence! I will not endanger my crew so we can go back and save some slaves that we were forced to give up. If you want to do this so badly, find a ship with a suicidal crew, I'm sure they would be glad to help. We are not doing this, do I make myself clear?"
