Yeah this is a good one I think. I don't have too many songs that don't have some sort of vocals, well unless you count the few songs I have that are pretty much pure guitar solos.


It's a bit old by now but damn... No anime has managed to match this OST in terms of pure manliness

Less "mellow" more "awe-inspiring fear", but it was the first thing that came to mind. A little bit of vocals towards the end but not english (or any language I can recognise).

Early pink floyd (the 24/7 LSD era) is exactly what you're looking for. The song echoes is very spacey. Careful with that Axe Eugene is one that doesn't have any vocals and is very spacey as well.

That's about as spacey as I get without referencing Portal 2.
