So once again I have been presented with the task of making a questionnaire and getting people to answer it. Completing it would be very helpful and giving constructive criticism if you're feeling generous would be greatly appreciated. It's about Mightyape [https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9XH3Q5P] which I figure a lot of you girls and guys use, especially if you live in Australia or New Zealand. [sub]Hell even if you don't use it can't hurt to answer right?[/sub]

Now on a somewhat related and more discussion-value worthy note, I'd like to hear your thoughts on online shopping. It'll be interesting to see how the general attitude towards it has changed. Personally I'm loving it more than ever. The only time I do physical shopping now is with friends when we happen to be at the mall or with family which is just casual 'oh that looks nice' kind of shopping. I just can't ever go back considering how much more convenient it is doing it on the web.

Anyhow, thanks for your input! It is muchly appreciated n______n

Done.

Also, big fan of online shopping. I think it was you that told me about nzgameshop? I can't remember. Could have been you.

Haven't used Mightyape in a while, but I bought my Vita through them. Anywho, yes. If I can buy it online, and it isn't priced exorbitantly compared to the prices at a physical store, I will buy it over the Internet. Unless the delivery time is too long for some reason. I think JB Hi-fi makes you wait a couple days, and they're just down the road, so. Or, as you say, I happen to be in a mall already and was planning on buying something anyway.

Yeah.

Yeah, the only time I shop in person is for groceries, clothes, or work-related gear. Window-browsing is kind of a rarity.
Far more convenient to just order whatever I want online and pick it up at the local post office.

While I have no issue with shopping online, I still tend to treat it as a sort of last resort. I will almost always go to a physical store to buy something if I can. If I, for whatever reason, can't find what I want at a physical store or if the online price is just indisputably better then I will gladly buy online. I think a large part of it for me is that when I decide to buy something, I want it right then. Even with super fast shipping there's still a waiting period I'd rather avoid once I've made a purchase decision.

Well my stance on online shopping depends on the items. When it comes to stuff like food and clothes i definitely prefer going to the store. If only so i can try out the clothes (it's not always easy to know your exact size because it depends on the brand) or for food so i can pick the one up which seems the most fresh.

But for other items like electronics i like online shopping. Usually the specs are just as well described in online stores as they are in physical stores and it's not like you dissect the items in a physical store.

Done.

What I like about MightyApe is the pickup option. I'd rather just drive along the road to get my stuff then pay for shipping, but I know that isn't the case for most people.

As for online shopping in general, I like it for most things. Clothes or shoes are the worst though, I always double and triple check sizing. I haven't gotten anything that hasn't fit me yet, so I guess i've been lucky.

Since I live in New Zealand there's not much choice when it comes to clothes or shoes, so i'm glad to have a bigger variety f things I can buy overseas.

I really like online shopping because the selection of stuff is unparalleled. I like in a rural area without a whole lot of cultural diversity, so if I want some nifty things that might be super common in certain areas of the US/world I have a really hard time finding them. Plus opening packages is super fun for me, even when I know whats in them.

However, I don't order foods or clothes from the internet very frequently. I like to try on clothes to make sure they fit correctly first. However, when I ordered some new soccer cleats, the website I used has a really easy return policy if the cleats didn't fit correctly. So I may be more apt to buy clothes of the interwebs now.

I've never even heard of MightyApe. My survey ended after the first question because of this. I do make frequent use of Amazon and iTunes Store for all of my online shopping needs though.

Same.

The only things I buy from high street outlets any more are food and drink. Everything else comes from Amazon or iTunes.

Done and done. I'm not a real big fan of Mighty Ape as often you can get items from other online shops or even from America for cheaper sometimes. The rapid service is a big plus however.

It's a New Zealand based retailer so I'm not too surprised you've never heard of it.

Ah. That would be a fair point.

Thanks to everyone that responded, even if you don't use the website. It's really handy to have this wealth of input when talking about my successes and such.
