Speculation on Nintendo's new console

Okay, first my thoughts. I think it's going to be a Gamecube 2.0. Except it'll be really shiny (probably black), use normal sized discs, and have a HDD. They wouldn't really have to do more to make me happy. Although more is always appreciated of course. What do you think it'll be like?

Let's see. Shiny(ish), available in black, uses normal sized discs, plays Gamecube games, and then some.

Other than not having an HDD, you just described the Wii

Personally I'm hoping for a more conventional controller, full 1080p mode possible in all games (360 and PS3 can't quite do that), and hopefully Bluray video playback. And an HDD, and a Pony.

It will be called the "Uss" and it will have no games. Just a stick and 3D glasses. It will sell one million units in 2011 and three (not three million, just three) in 2012.

if it can get: a great multiplayer experience,COD,Madden,have backwards compatability for the wii,ds,and GC,have a huge virtual store, have good but unique controllers without making it gimicky,HDD, and a huge selection of perhiphels making each gaming experience unique.
then it will have all of the videogame customers ever. making ms and sony step down from videogame making.

I'm hoping it's something like this. Those specs plus a good online system and I'd be very pleased.

I think the new console is going to be a small fluffy dog. Miyamoto will describe it as "The most immersive gaming experience the world has ever seen!" The launch titles "Fetch" and "Mario: Fetch" will feature you playing interactively with your Nintendog.

Actually whatever the new system is I really hope they don't do anything involving 3D.
