I haven't seen the third installment yet, so I'm waiting for the fourth with no anticipation what-so-ever.

why cant they just leave spidey alone. I was annoyed at them doing a 4th. But a 4th without tobey?!?
Also the films have still not managed to capture the humor in spiderman which is stupid seeing as his wit might as well be one of his super powers in the comics.

Frankly, I got sick of the films after Spidey went emo. Good to hear their rebooting it! Now I just hope they don't screw it up...

Im actualy kinda sad, first three werent great, but neither was the first hulk movie yet marvel has been doing pretty awesome things lately just look at iron man, i really would have liked to see a GREAT spider man movie

They way they trashed my favorite supervillian in that movie (Venom) made me realize how done the series was.
Well I was looking forward to see what they would do for Spider-Man 4, but I suppose that will never occur in the soon future. Ah well, there will be other superhero movies.

I personally gave up on the Spider-Man movies after the third one took all my fond memories of the comics and the first two movies away for two hours.
But hopefully, if this is any indication, Raimi will go back to his roots in fun horror movies just as he did last year. One can only hope...
