I'd like a cartoon for The Silver Surfer maybe... or how about a cartoon based purely on the Marvel vs DC storyline since those were epic fights. I'd like the whole thing to be done with kind of a Batman of The Future vibe except the Silver Surfer to be very camp.
There was a Silver Surfer toon a while back.

Edit: If I recall they tried to make it angsty as he often Whined about missing Shalla-Bal

In fact to the OP. Many shows have been tried but never done well. The Fantastic Four had a Series (looking it up) in 1967, 1978, and 1994. I remember the 1994 one and it played back to back with an Iron Man series.
Damn I remember the Fantastic Four and the Iron Man ones. They were awesome!

yeah it was a pretty good cartoon too, he did whine a bit but not that much really

there is also a semi-ongoing cartoon for F4 now

i'd love to see a Judge Dredd or Doctor Strange. i'd say Lobo but i don't think he'd really be a good cartoon for kids

Gambit, a decent series on him. I can't help but feel he'd also go well in a Square-Enix style RPG.

On a slightly related note, I'd love to see more of Dan Dare =3

the newest iron man cartoon pisses me off...Im getting really tired of them re-writing it to be an alternate universe.. I mean Stark as a High School kid is just......thats too much.
Yeah, it's pretty bad. I hate how they try to modernize the crap out of it and appeal to younger audiences, because, you know, kids wouldn't be interested in adult super heroes.

Also, I used to watch that Spider-Man cartoon from the 90's all the time. It took itself way too seriously, with Peter thinking to himself all the time. It was hilarious

Deadpool would be awesome. Punisher would be sweet. The sandman would be cool but it would couldn't be a show for kids. Captain America would be worth watching. Thor anyone? The runaways if they did it right. Nick Fury could be very neat. Daredevil.

Iron Ma... Hulk... Eee... Fantast...

Okay, okay. Deadpool for sure, even if they would have to soften the show, like they do with Wolverine. And get the same guy that made the script for Deadpool in Hulk versus Wolverine movie. Oh, and the guy that voiced him.

Dogwelder. We NEED a Dogwelder cartoon series. Alternatively a Section 8 cartoon series would also suffice.

I rest my case.
YES! Man, it's been a long while since I even thought of Dogwelder, years. The idea is a bit gimmicky though; it'd be funny the first few times. I would like to watch crazy-parody-superhero shows though, like Freakazoid. I was recently watching the Boomerang channel, and there was this show with armored men shooting lasers from their chest-mounted weapons at cyborg dinosaurs! The sad part was the lack of jokes.

They had a silver surfer animated series and it was god awfully boring. Half the show was spent floating through space having abstract thinking and they never really had him fight any real villains. In the end hes just too powerful of a character and its difficult to balance him out with the rest of the marvel universe.
God damn it. I was hoping for an epic fight between him and the rest of Galactus' heralds. And then ending with Galactus himself.

Also. I'd love one devoted to the Horsemen of The Apocalypse. Always been my favourite comic thing.

That's because they're incredibly interesting cool characters.

But I'd like a Watchmen cartoon. Heresy I know, but it would be cool if done right.
Hey check out on Youtube Saturday Morning Watchmen. That was pretty good.

It's because those characters are the most popular ones. You can't make multiple films off obscure characters, as there isn't enough known about about them, and they're too unknown by the audience to become successful.

Wasn`t there a earthworm jim cartoon at one point?
Yes, there was, voiced by the guy who does Homer Simpson, and it sounded vaguely like him.

I'd like to see a Spawn cartoon, in like a film noir or almost black and white style, but when color is needed for effect, use it.

Their was a silver sufer cartoon once upon a time.

I remeber watching it as a kid. It was basically about the silver surfer finding planets for that really big guy who ate planets, eventually the silver surfer was set free, etc.

It was pretty good.

Uhh, by far the worst superhero ever.
Thats Superman.
I like him. He defines the breed.
If I had to hate something till the end of my days I would choose Superman...I just...gah! HATE!
Its probley the hole 'Superior to everything ever' thing. He gets lots of hate over that.
