That is fucking awesome all the folk in here complaining about how it looks like a bad CGI and it turns out it is a real person in a real suit. Anyway I was more pumped to see some action with Antman doing Antman stuff, i.e running about while really really small.

Yeh, i think my comment killed the thread as no one had anything to complain about xD

Even though its a Costume it still does not look as good as before.

It lacks the texure of the Raimi films and even the second Amazing Spiderman movie.

I mean look at these if you understand where I am coming from:

The MCU one just looks...plain compared to the prior 2. The only thing I don't think its the worst thing ever because the First Amazing Spiderman suit looks even Worse:

I'm amazed that they have Spidey--who's supposed to be about 15 years old--sound like, you know, a fifteen year old kid!

Shocking! After all these years the public is accustomed to teenagers in film being played by girls and boys in their mid to late twenties.

I'm on board. Heck, the costume doesn't even bug me.

So it's more accurate to the earlier comics and the 90's cartoon?

Fine by me. This is how Spidey should look, the silver texture was cool and it was different but i like this new reto approach.

I loved everything about the scene except Spider-Man's voice.

Yes, I know Peter Parker is supposed to be a high school student. But the rest of the world doesn't know that he's a kid. That's why he's goes by Spider-Man and not Spider-Boy, Spider-Kid or Spider-Lad.

I'm also disappointed by what he says. "Hey Everyone"? That doesn't seem very Spidey. I would have expected something more corny or cocky like "Hey gang, miss me?" (especially if that's the first time they've met him) or calling Iron Man "The Tin Man" or "Sir Lancelot" or something.

The Spider-Man sense of humor was the one thing The Amazing Spider-Man got right. I hope they continue that here.

Because regardless of my internet fanboy nerdalizing...I'm still going to see this movie!
