Wait a sec...

if i recall correctly, isnt the vulture the guy who killed Peter's parents in the first place? correct me if im wrong, but i think that this might be spiderman 3 2.0, judging by the whole "sandman killed my uncle" subplot.

Damn you Raimi... if you screw this up, you will not see another $10 from me again.

You know, after Iron Man I genuinely thought Marvel was back in shape.

BUT WAIT! Something's happened since then, hasn't it...? That's right, Disney got their grubby fingers on my beloved superhero franchise company. And what do we get? ... WHAT DO WE GET?!?!

Must... stop... hyperventilating...
If this turns out to be true, Spiderman is dead to me. The Vulture I can accept, but NOT the Vulturess.

I actually thought William DeFoe was terrible in the first Spidey, and I never cared for the Green Goblin anywho. And yet the first one was a pretty damned good movie.

A crazy old guy in a skin-tight latex suit?

...

That's a great idea for a villain!
Yeah, if we're talking about something that teaches kids not to go with strangers...

Sigh. I've been waiting forever for the goddamn Black Cat and what do they do? Fuck it over.

Also why in the name of God did they choose the Vulture over Mysterio? Don't they realise Mysterio will kick so much arse in a Spiderman movie, especially if they're trying to pull back from the abortion that was Spiderman 3.

I really hope this is a fake.

you can't do Carnage without upping the movie's gore rating to something unsuitable for the target audience
Not to mention the completely fucked up Venom. Carnage is my second favourite villian of all time, and they botched Venom so bad I would not want to see them do Carnage.

Lucky they didn't call it the egress - that's what loads of people would be going to as soon as they saw this guy.

i don't think it will be that bad, also i'd take what the site is saying with a grain of salt, Sam could easily just be making stuff up to throw people off the scent of what's happening

The Spiderman series ticks me off because I hated the First and the Third movies. Strange part is, I think the second one is one of the best comic book films ever made. :p

This one... I don't know. The Vultress sounds a bit too cheese-ball for me to take seriously. I'll wait until I see some production art to decide If I like where this is going.

This reeks of internet tom-foolery, and in any case I stopped caring after Spider-Man 3.
At least someone remembers the whole 'I'm don't like Venom, he's not going to be in' rouse with the last film...

Yes! That is the game I was thinking of! I used to love that game. And I agree, the cheat codes were awesome. Ever since I played that game I wished that more games would have cheat codes. The "What if" code was hilarious.
I remember racing the submarine through the one area with the turrets.
I wish I could find that game somewhere. I'd buy it in a minute. It was by far the best.
Spiderman hasn't been the same since the movies.

If Sam Raimi is involved, I'll hold my breath. He knows how badly Venom screwed up the last one; he's bound to put his footdown over gratuitous totty.

If Bay gets his hands on it though, I won't see it. EVER.

Equally if I hear Mugging Fecks is in it.

I haven't picked up a comic book in my entire life, even I could tell how much they fucked up 3, Venom seemed to have potential for utter baddassery, instead not only did he play second fiddle to a boring ass villain, he was played by a pansy. I like the actor in 70's show but doesn't really fit for the awesome looking Venom.

Again with 0 comic book knowledge or desire to acquire any, The Vultress seems fucking stupid, on top of the vulture himself seeming like a pretty sad choice.

Yes and a man with 4 mechanical arms is so much better... With movies you take even the most lame ass junk and rewrite it to be something baddass. I wouldn't worry about it.
