I like that Yuri Lowenthal (Prince of Persia, Luke von Fabre) is voicing Spidey. He's a natural fit for the character.

Not that hes bad (though I always just think of Sun Ce when I hear him) I actually really like Drake Bell as Spidey, since I feel he does dorky yet snarky well.

As for this game...I have no strong opinion yet, since it tells me nothing other than a dumb costume design. Who are the villains? What are the goals? Whats gameplay going to be like? Etc.

Wuzza with the white spider logo? But in the trailer, it appears to have new moves. I look forward to the game reviews.

I still haven't finished Amazing Spiderman 1 for the PS3. Good game though. I hear AS2 stinks by comparison but wadda I know. I loved the Cap game for PS3 and have enjoyed Green Lantern in Coop.

well well, I am actually surprisingly interested, if it's anything like spiderman 2 from the ps2, I will definitely be getting it down the line.

Couldn't tell how much of it reflected on actual gameplay, but the trailer was alright.

Well, like the others have said, ugly outfit, but considering it's a spiderman game you'll probably unlock 20 different outfits by the end of the game, so I'm not too worried about that.

The thing I'm being cautious about is that I don't like how many "cinematic" camera angles were in that trailer. If the gameplay is going to be like that then I predict an unhealthy amount of quick-time events. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Either way I'll be getting this game. I'll take any exclusive Sony will throw at me since my copies of Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 are getting lonely.

Hoping for a longshot here, but I'd like to see a wider selection of the Spider Family here. Classic Venom, Silk, Spider-gwen, Miles, etc.
Hell, I want a custom Symbiote, too while we're at it.

Works for me.
Ultimate Spider Woman, Arana, May Parker, and so many Spidermen from the spiderverse. The roster could be as big as most Lego games and still not really have to dig into obscure characters.

I have some hope for this, the trailer and voice over are very well done. But am confused by the apparent consensus that his costume looks ugly, it just looks like the average spiderman getup, how is this one somehow worse than any other? I honestly am not seeing a difference.

Its the logo in both size and color, white isn't a really good look for the body because Spidy now has like 4 colors on the body and the bigass logo is just a train wreck, hell look at the logo if it was black

Anyways, I don't mind the costume, I like Yuri as Spidey, and from what I saw of gameplay it looks like the swinging's back to Spider-Man 2/Amazing Spider-Man 2. So I will remain cautiously optimistic on this one.

Trailer didn't offer much to go on (some devs/pubs apparently still haven't cottoned on to people wanting to see gameplay) but I'm certainly up for some current-gen web-swinging.

E3 really isn't about the people, its about investors. That's why we get sizzle reels instead of gameplay. Now beyond E3, publishers who have nearly finished or finished products who are not giving us consumers gameplay reels are just stupid.

Yeah, I guess, but I have seen more and more companies choosing to show off nice ten minute chunks of gameplay by way of preview. I just wish the rest would get with the program.
