I don't see spiders as a problems, spiders are our friends.

Apart from daddy long legs, since they eat other spiders.

Well, the main reason spiders would get bigger would be due to a much larger mix of oxygen in the atmosphere, allowing them to take in more oxygen easily, permitting greater and greater growth over time. Perhaps Greenland has a greater oxygen mix?

Edit:

No, wait, read the entire article. It has to do with a longer hunting period due to the new climent, permitting new food for the critter.

The question is, are they any harder to kill?
The answer: Not at all.
Why do we care then?

Oh right, it's so fearless guys can get arachnophobe girls

"I'll save you from that giant spider!"
"My hero!"

I can't wait until spiders get much bigger. It would gives us good cause to implement an FRPC (Flaming Rocket-Propelled Chainsaw). Or a chainsaw gun for cutting the legs of spiders.

Wolf Spiders are getting bigger.

Excellent, Hamsters love eating Wolf Spiders (no really). Let's unleash an army of Hamsters into our countries, the aggresive little buggers will rapidly kill off all the other rodent species, eat the spiders and it will all be irrepressably cute!
i like your thinking! espeically female hamsters who are even more vicious than male hamsters.
OP: I really really don't like spiders and now i don't like them even more the horrible manky things.

Or at least the ones that are likely to have been caused by it.

Your point sort of sounds like an obese person saying "Sure blame calories, the occasional genetic disorder, and a lack of enthusiasm for any physical activity on our problems!"

Generally speaking warmth and a copius amount of oxygen leads to disturbingly large insects (or arachnids).

While I doubt we have the latter we are certainly getting the former.

Random Spider related story:

I recently had what was later identified as a wolf spider in my living room.

This thing was massive!

The monsterous eight legged freak bolted out from somewhere on to the middle of my living room floor. Being terrified of spiders has lead my spider sense to be awesome so I shot up from my seat to squash it and, I shit you not, this thing turned around and squared up to me.

It just stood there staring at me. The next thing it saw though was the bottom of my shoe.

Car broke down? MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING!

Dog ate your sock? MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING!

Wife cheated on you? MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING!

Midget punched you in the balls, dragged you into the ally wherein his friends and him start beating the fucking crap out of you with razor wire covered bats, take your wallet, piss on you and plant a flag proclaiming "OWNED!" 12 inches into your rectum?

MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING!

Malaria mosquitoes (anopheles) are travelling northward from the south of Italy, that's far more scary than some bigger, slightly squishier spiders in my opinion. And yes, global warming is a factor.
