The Witcher 2 hasn't been released on the 360 yet, there was no real date set for it's release and now it's stuck in legal limbo thanks to Namco-Bandai. So it can't be counted towards the 360.NuclearShadow said:

True. I voted on them myself, and the categories I missed were often ones which included Skyward Sword. I'd love to give the game my vote, but so far I've only played 2 hours of it so far. I can't vote it with so little experience with the game. Although I think it's pretty safe to still vote it as best Wii game. That's obvious.
I will answer this simply: Because it would be boring! The show is supposed to entertain us. I've seen games clean house, and it's not entertaining to watch (in my opinion). It's just like "Oh, great! They're going to win...again..."NuclearShadow said:

That's actually a better argument for the irrelevancy of the awards show than the "I don't like frat boys and popular people, so there for this show sucks" argument. I mean...not all frats are the same. There are nerd fraternities. I know...I was roommates with three members of one. They were all bona-fide nerd stereotypes. That way, the year is actually over and all the games for it have been released (I know there weren't many December releases, but there was the one big one: The Old Republic). And this way does make sure that the people voting have actually had time to play the games.
