Hello everybody,I'm gonna be stuck down the shore for a week with no internet me and a friend of mine where wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a co op game.I hate split screen but am willing to deal with it given the situation or any that don't use split screen.Pretty much open to anything that is you know "good" FYI I don't like borderlands and we already have L4d

Time Splitters?

But yeah, sadly this great feature is dying a slow forgotten death.

Any of the Lego games, specifically the Star Wars ones. Co-op play and a surprising amount of fun for anyone but the most jaded and stony-hearted gamer.

World at War, Zombie mode (or whatever its called) is indeed a pretty good way to pass the time. You could always go with a sports game, NHL 10 might be a good choice (going by your Avatar), solid game and in my experience, even non-hockey fans learn to love it.

Splinter Cell Conviction has a decent co-op campaign, if you and your friend can resist the urge to go guns blazing through a level! When I played with my friend he used a shotgun for most of it, clearly the most stealthy weapon ever invented....

who doesn't like split screen? I wish more games had splitscreen modes. Splinter cell has always needed it. Same with AVP games. OT: Gears of War is pretty good for split screen action.

Trackmania Nations Forever, it's a free, less-awesome version of United, 700mb download, stunt racing game with track editor.

You hate split screen? But that's the proper way to play with other people. Not this online BS.

borderlands is fun split screen. i assume you have an xbox (next time specify please) since you mentioned L4D2 but if you have a ps3 as well resistance, LBP, splinter cell conviction are all fun split screen. which the last one you can get for 360 as well.

Losplanet 2 is pretty freaking sweet.
The story's okay, and the gameplay is a bit more of the same from the first game. But the co-op with friends online and offline (it has split screen) is just so much fun. If you have mics, bringing down a difficult Akrid becomes quite tactical and heightens the experience.

Losplanet 2 and Fable 3 disagree with your statement. False!
I fully hope I am wrong.
I love split-screen Co-op!
