Yes. It was great but now it's just turning stupid. Ever since the movie it got worse.

I liked the movie, but recent episodes have seemed less clever than older ones.

One of my favorite parts from the series:

Patrick: And we can fly!

Spongebob: Yeah! (jumps off the nearest cliff) AAAHHH! Okay... we still can't do that.

then he pops up right behind him.

Yeah, I think its getting worse. Actually, no, it's being aimed less at a "family" audience and more at a "children" audience. I think they realized that no adult actually watched it with there kids and thus it doesn't need any semblance of a brain anymore. It's still fun for kids for It'll never be worth watching for anyone over 8(ish, I'm not paying attention)any more.
