Spore is good, DRM is bad, shut up already (edited for repentence)

I bought the game, didn't care about the DRM and still think the game sucked. Royally. If I would have been 8 years old, I guess I could have had an easier time looking past the incredibly thin surface and hailed the game with the perfect score of "Ooh, shiny!"

The game is basically 5 minigames written in Flash, where you feel any connection whatsoever between them only between minigame 1 and 2. The copy protection could have made me sandwiches in the morning and cleaned my windows for all I care, I still got a crappy product.

I put up my game on my country's ebay after 3 days and guess what, no one wants to buy it.

I think it would be better if they would have a patch on the internet that allows you to break the DRM for those people who don't like illegally downloading games.

So you would be... legally doing something illegal?

I would at least pay the company the money they deserve for making the game, but the patch would be fixing their error in judgment.

The game is collateral damage. The fact that its creators decided to include such ridiculous countermeasures is a sad thing but I soundly hope that people will take that into account before they even consider buying the game.

As far as your tone, Limos, everyone is entitled to their opinion and if people want to harp on what is a very valid point of argument then they have as much a right to do so as you do to... well, whine about them whining.
