Spore port?

I want Spore sooo much, but I don't think my computer would be able to run it. Does anyone think there could be some kind of port to a console? Or is all hope lost?

My computer can't run anything. It could run runescape barely, if I actually wanted to play.

One wonders how this constant update from teh interwebs thing will work on the 360. Will it deny Silver users?

Well the system updates and the updates to Halo 3,COD4,Perfect Dark,Crackdown, only games I've tried when connected to the internet (with Silver mind you)

It also requires Windows XP because you have to have some EA update program in order to run it, and that needs XP to run. My computer can't handle XP. Therefore I can't play Spore even though I have the required RAM (If I have jack running, which I never do, because most of my RAM is taken by system processes and Firefox. Firefox I can close.). I tried playing Prey and it was ridiculously laggy even on the lowest graphics setting possible.

In regards to the game, I wouldn't even want to play a console version except on the Wii. Controlling character creation that's that specific (Not "choose your face from a list and we'll do everything for you") with analog sticks? No thanks. I have a hard enough time manipulating objects correctly in Forge. I can't even fathom making a monster from scratch.

True enough, but they are making a few console RTSs, so you never know.

But Spore requires a constant connection to the internet, but at the same time does not actually interact with it. That'd be markedly differently from updates.

It doesn't require it to be constantly connected to the internet. Only if you want to use the Sporepedia and download peoples creatures, etc. You can play offline just fine
