They were the first games I've ever owned. I remember finding the 3rd game (I can't remember the name of it...return of the Dragon, maybe?) and through having no friends managed to collect all the gems and dragon eggs on every single level, and unlocking the secret bonus world (which was a ***** in itself.) I remember it taking forever to beat the yetis in that sledding challenge, and then I beat all the other worlds rather quickly, until I got to the final boss. I had over 50 lives, and every single one was lost to that damn flying saucer thing. I also forgot to save out of anger, so all of that progress was lost, and I never played it again. It was devastating...at the time, of course. I mean, I was only nine at the time, but watching what I had created dissapear was truly a heartbreaking experience.
Funny, I haven't even thought of Spyro in years, partially due to the fact that the games that came out afterwords were a disgrace to the once revered name. I think its time play my childhood again.
Thanks!!
