I love the randomness of Brawl. With 4 players, it can be quite the party game.
But since it has so many options, you can easily turn the game into a more serious, fairer game.

And it has Zero Suit Samus, how I love Zero Suit Samus.

All the Final Smashes

The large library of new and old music.

Its easy to pick up and play

Playing it together with friends.

Seriously its awesome.

To me, local multiplayer is like the concept of "banter" (casual slagging off of mates). If there's on two of you, it's just going to make you hate each other, if there's more of you then you will all want to contribute and it becomes fun.

Exactly. This, in my opinion, is the reason halo was so successful. Local (And in fairness, it had great online too) multiplayer. Its so much more fun than online, because, to quote yahtzee, if someone pulls a dick move you can punch them.

Yeah it's fun and I think it's the only "fighter" game I still play till this day (besides Street fighter 4) but more on topic, I like soundtrack too. Come on Itunes sell it!

i love it, it added a few more characters from my favorite series, Still waiting for more Metroid characters, and a lot of good stages.
(not to mention Trophies and Stickers)
And the Music was Incredible.

I liked it when I played. If I owned it like I do melee I'd probably like it more.

but they added a lot of shit that wasn't needed. Especially teh slipping and such. When you can't have any control over your own character, wtf man, wtf? ***** move, Nintendo.

It's one of the final games that requires you to have 4 people in the same room to have real fun.

I liked it. Meta-knight kicked ass, I always used him. Also, the music was really cool. I like the remix the did with all the zelda songs.

Man, that's the truth. I prefer local or LAN multiplayer over faceless internet action any day of the week.

Also, I don't really care for smash brothers. I guess it was growing up arcade sharking during the SF2 arcade era but I just don't find much to love in smash brothers beyond nostalgia.

I love Brawl, and all the other Super smash bros games. I cleared the entire challenge board for Brawl (Don't care how pathetic that is, I was still in Middle school and played it with my friends a lot). And I personally don't see why Metaknight should be banned. Yes, I use him. But as any of my friends can atest (sp?) to, I planned on using him regardless of fighting style because I LOVE metaknight. When I first heard he would be in it I instantly told everyone I knew I'd be playing with to back off because he was going to be my main character. he just happened to be pretty good. So what if he wins most of the tournaments? Perhaps the best players just happen to use him. I've been beaten and I've seen plenty of metaknights beaten. Some people say there's no character to be a good character to metaknight, well what about Marth? Metaknight only has physical attacks, and Marth has counter. Marth also has a longer range than metaknight, which is really bad for him.

Yeah, more of a rant about metaknight than an opinion on Brawl, but I don't care.

I love Brawl because it's got a great list of characters, requires some skill, you can use the GC controller, and it's just a lot of fun.
