Stalker Call of Pripyat Trailer

A Trailer for The New Stalker has been released, and since there is very little mention of it outside Stalker related websites, I though I would Link you all to it out the kindness of my heart.

According to an interveiw they are addressing the issues with playtesting and terriable game engine coding but we shall have to wait and see if they actually do.

I'd sttle for a re release of Chernobyl and Clear sky with all the bugs fixed. Fekkit, I'd pay retail again for that, the games could be so brilliant if they just play tested them more thoroughly.

I did love the original despite its many bugs, so I'm tentatively looking forward to this game.
Hopefully, my computer will still be able to run it.

Meh, looks pretty same old, same old to me. Though I did like the storm sequence, with the lightning and thunder and such. I got sick of the first two games pretty quickly though. It just doesn't look like they have changed the environment much, or the models, or the voice acting (though that is being picky, seeing as there are only a few lines, and its in Russian). Saying that it is just a trailer, and I am sure people will point out my mistakes.

As long as they either severely overhaul the engine they used before, or get rid of it completly and use a different one, this game is a must buy for me. The other 2 were everything Fallout 3 should have been, actually having to survive in a wasteland, and not being a 1 man wrecking machine.

Haven't tried to play it in a while, I wonder if they ever fixed it.

I absolutely loved Shadow of Chernobyl, but found Clear Sky to be a little crappy...
However I'll still likely get this one on release as they are still damn good games, the atmosphere and overall feel to them is really like no other game I've ever played.

However I'll still likely get this one on release as they are still damn good games, the atmosphere and overall feel to them is really like no other game I've ever played.

I am playing Clear sky patched to the max and with the Spartan mod, which is the closest to Oblivion lost for Clear Sky that I can find. It is now an excellent game, though the mod brings up one or two issues, they are only small bugs.

Same here, Shadow.. was an amazing game, played though it a few times, but couldnt get through clear sky once. shame.
So im looking forward to call of pripyat!

played the call of pripyat through twice now,1st time no crashes and no noticable bugs 2nd time 1 crash to desktop and 1 freez

its not out yet....

The russian version has been out some time now already and there are pretty good transaltion mods so yes I have played it. It's a like a public beta or something they did it with previous stalkers also.
