...what Sheva did to RE5.
Made it more fun?
If by "fun" you mean added a generic cookie-cutter to remove any sort of tension or worry from the game in a series that COINED THE PHRASE "survival horror" with AI that was outdated in the NES era, then yes. The game was the epitome of fun.

Prefer the night scenes on the CryEngine 2, Daytime just looks like JustCause 2 or FarCry 2.

Meh. She was fine for me. I don't see how she removed any tension from the game, maybe your just a bit de-sensitised to it?
Desensitized to tension? What? No seriously... what? I don't even...

She removed any semblance of tension from the game because there was no longer any significant threat to you. You didn't have to make your shots count because she was constantly poking away at enemies while you were reloading, with the exception of the elevator bit with the lickers it was impossible to be overwhelmed at any point due to two people with heavy weapons, she was always there to watch your back. You didn't have to worry about rationing supplies because she could just mule all the extra crap. There was no reason to feel vulnerable, or weak, or outgunned. It was basically just Gears of War with slower, less-threatening enemies.

Hi,

If you wanne fancy up your STALKER experience, I would suggest the STALKER complete mod.
It's a collection of different mods which enhances graphics but also fixes numerous bugs (the ones left after all the patches) and tweaks some other stuff but stays really close to the original STALKER experience.

It exists for STALKER shadow of chernobyl and Clear sky. Call op pripyat version is on the way.
