I have been stalked a couple of times, neither time disturbed me over much. The last one left presents on my door step. Like a cool crystal globe that now sits in my room in case I ever need to hurl it at someone.
EDIT: Also when I saw this thread I thought it had something to do with Russia.
I should have titled it better, honestly. However, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and "stalker"... kind of different.
Very true lol, but I still read them both the same way. So it wouldn't've helped much.

Strangely enough my mildly stalkerish tendencies led to becoming friends (almost in a relationship but it didn't work out) with the guy and finding out he was just as weird as me. His best friend told me he used to call her at 3am even to just hear her breathe. I'm not that weird nor do I consider myself a real stalker. I wasn't into harassing, searching for private information, and following IRL. I just happened to like seeing him both at school and work and noticed he drove his car past my house to get home, but I hadn't actually met him. He was just "that interesting guy". I actually created a facebook page with a ludicrously fake name and added him with some kind of awkward message like "oh hey it's that random guy from work/school who [insert quirky behaviour] so I thought why not add him?"

I've actually noticed quite a few interesting borderline acquaintances, looked them up in the yearbook, and added them on facebook with a lame excuse. Am I considered a stalker or is that normal? :/

Also, I don't consider reading someone's posts all the time stalking. It just means you enjoy their writing. Although I do refer to it as stalking informally. *sigh* Maybe I need to get out more.
