As the group department for the escape craft, James sidled up next to Gabriel.

"Their weapons?" James asked under his breath, but loud enough for Gabriel to hear. He showed a little smile, but one that none of the others would notice/

"Relax, if they try anything, the countermeasure is in place; in fact its been active for a little while now. In hindsight, it was more of a Plan B in case my little speech didn't have an effect on Jaden. Would of gone one step further, if you catch my drift, but would of needed me having direct A.I core access." Gabriel said quietly.

"Right, gotcha." James said under his breath. So the ship's defense systems were still under COL control, meaning the Star Brigade was still an active threat to Murray's battle group. "God forbid this be too easy." he mumbled sourly in Gabriel's ear as they entered the elevator.

A few minutes later, they had arrived in the shuttle bay. Two Corona's sat in their berths, ready for take off. Jaden stared for the closest, but James grabbed his shoulder. "I think you're forgetting something." he said, nodding at Nate and the little girl.
