I don't know yet. Aren't they selling the campaigns separately? I'm not made of money. Plus, that shit is probably going to suck up a HUGE amount of my free time.

I should probably be doing reasonable things, like not sitting in a pile of filth eating Fritos.

I won't. I'm just not the general-type, I only enjoy commanding a small unit.
The map editor can make FPS games and 3rd person shooters. Well supposedly it can actually make anything, but I've tried an FPS and a 3rd person shooter for it.

The FPS was surprisingly good. A little doom/quakish but good. I think online it would lag like crazy, because the 3rd person shooter was online and it did lag like crazy. Then again I tried the 3rd person shooter when BNET2.0 was laggy for everything because of a bad patch.
Now I'm interested, then. I may never get through the campaigns, but if I can I'll give that a shot.

I don't think I'll get it, at least not until they put all campaigns in 1 sale
So... you want all 3 campaigns in one sale? Well it's still going to cost like £140 on steam.
Nope, it won't. Blizzard won't be putting anything of theirs on Steam.
Blizzard said, that Starcraft II's DRM will be Steam.
No, the DRM's going to be Battle.Net, not Steam. Links or it didn't happen. I can link to a million (hyperbole) sources claiming the Battle.Net will be the DRM, and it won't be on Steam.
Oh yeah, New Vegas was the game that will use Steam as it's DRM.

Maybe you mean Australian Dollars. When I said $75, I'm referring to US Dollars. Don't know though.

But seriously, the various prices around the world is ridiculous.
$75 USD is still only about $85 AUD. At the moment the cheapest pre-order price I see for SCII is about $80 AUD, that's why I don't do day1 purchases, although this game is tempting me to break my habit.

I'm not getting it
I first played it in grade 11 so I kinda looked at the graphics as a dissapointment.
I couldn't pull myself to care about the story even a little bit. I found all of the characters that actualyl had names were unintresting and 2 dimensional, the mission breifing room just made me sit back and shake my head.
and for me I find the gameplay to be simple to a barbaric degree. I grew up on the total war series which I still love so I'm use to the larger scale, and some semblance to variety.

all in all IN MY OPINION! I think the starcraft series is the worst thing blizzard has created..

that being said I can't wait for diablo 3
It's a fairly old game though, 1998 and all.

Gotta disagree with you on the gameplay, from a multiplayer point-of-view, it is FAR from being simple.
Again this is my opinion I thought the same of Warcraft3 but it was taken a back seat to a hoard of necromancers raising a battle field full of corpses to wipe out the enemy to clear from the map.
If you don't have a clue about the game and want to just pull an example out of your ass, don't. Countering necromancers and skeletons is one of the most piss easy things to do in Warcraft 3.
calm done bud i just thought it was funny, "rawr your friends come back to maul your brains out grrrr " besides I never did the vs thing.. well I did those lord of the rings maps. those were great fun. and what example did I pull that is legitimatly the main thing I loved to do in warcraft 3 the story was great mind you but for SC2 it didn't click for me thats all.

I'm practically an SC addict. I won't be getting the second one because I'm incredibly doubtful it would work on my crappy crappy computer.

Me. I don't understand the thrill of RTS games. Build and send more units then the opponent and win that's all you do.

I won't. I'm not much of a PC gamer, and while I was mildly successful playing SC1 over Battle.net in the short time I played, I just don't see myself as that kind of gamer. I'm sure it'll be a fun game though.

Chances are, I will not be getting it. I never thought the original was that great.

I won't be getting it. I did kinda like SC1, but the Zerg Rushing pisses me off and Command and Conquer is my mainstay RTS series at this point.

I'm also trying to contain my excitement for Dead Rising 2.
