Star Ruler

So I'm having fun with Star Ruler, which I bought on Steam.
Unfortunately, I can't play the Galactic Armory mod which looks pretty damn cool. Damn steam's efficiency in keeping all the patches up to date!

Anyway, what does everyone think of it.
(If you don't own the game, I would recommend it, it's pretty cool)

It's essentially Alpha Centauri in Space.

I'm pretty fond of it as well, though I play it for the Ship Designer more than anything.

Real time Galactic Civilization that is way more complex and immense.

It's an RTS in space, with Einsteinian mechanics, where you can build spaceships the size of galaxies.

Have you tried disabling the auto update and playng it with the in game community disabled?

It's how I got steam to stop overwriting the unofficial patches I use for Vampire the Masquerade.
Although Steam likes to turn the auto update back on now and then, so I have to check it before I play. :/

EDIT: Assuming you play offline, of course.

OT: I've never heard of it, but I'll look it up sometime.

EDIT 2: I'm loving the soundtrack ^_^

Jark212: Anything we can do to help? Have you tried reinstalling, updating your video drivers, doing a verification on your game's files if you're on Steam? Possibly aggressive anti-virus software?
