Star Trek Online - thoughts?

I would LOVE to see a good Star Trek MMORPG. If done right, it could be an absolutely phenomenal game.

Apparently you can choose an away team & a crew, but how in-depth this gioes...who knows.

Basically everyone is the captain of a starship either in the Federation or in the Klingon Empire. You then create a bridge crew, and assign them each skills depending on how you want them to perform certain tasks. The skills you give your bridge crew will decide how you perform in battle and other such tasks.

You can also create completely new aliens to play in the character creation since the universe is vast and no one has encountered all the different types of species in the universe. Or at least that is the justification for that alien creation feature.
