Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Might Still Be In Production

According to Kotaku, casting director Chris Marazzo said on his personal website that he's cast over two-hundred projects. Among them was Star Wars Battlefront 3. The fansite Battlefront3.net sent a message to him for clarification. His reply confirms that the game is still in production:

Thanks for getting in touch. The Original Title was Battlefront 3 but it evolved into Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. However Battlefront 3 is also in development. It was by far the most fun and coolest casting I ever worked on.

In addition, the fan who contacted the director said that Marazzo might be in the position to release some storyboards by the end of the week. This is very good news to all the Battlefront fans out there.

EDIT: Now to save me from a shitstorm later in the week, at this moment the story is mere rumor and speculation. I'll report more as the story develops.

Sweet, I loved the Battlefront series. However, I do think the first was far better than the second. The character balance was WAY off in the second.

However they should base it more of the first rather then the second, for whatever reson the first one was just alot more fun then the second.

As long as they can get over the whole "resource-requirements-so-high-that-they-can-only-have-9-players-on-each-team" problem, I'm fine. Also, I'd prefer to see the insides of the capital ships to be decently detailed this time around.

Especially the first. There's something unfair about playing as Darth Vader fighting Rebel Soldiers.
