Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Might Still Be In Production

As for Battlefront: it's fun but I'm not sure whether I really "get" it. Is it meant to be a tactical shooter or an action shooter? I'm not sure. I recently went back to BF1 and spent half an hour getting smashed, while BF2 cannot decide what it wants to be, however I would consider it superior.

I want my land spaceships back from Battlefront 1, it helps to run over everything when your losing.

Cruising round Geonosis in the first one as an engineer captain of the republic flying thing with your bro manning the laser cannons was the best vehicle section in any game, ever (not including the vehicle-only games though, obviously). That, and the cloud city level with the fighters having a dogfight all over and under and around the map (floating platforms), occasionally crashing into said platforms, etc. That, and you could nade Vader off the edge for the lulz.


Hopefully with this land-space thing, it means that the vehicles that fly (notably the landing craft that were so much fun) should be ready to use against ground units.

On the other hand, the CP-based system might need a bit of a change, unless there's 10 of them. Maybe it could be a points system, but then it becomes a case of looking for the last guys in a massive map.


Oh, and can you imagine this, on some good dedicated servers (not this MW2 rubbish), 64 players AND bots? A couple of hundred stormtroopers going at it against several hundred rebels would be great.

Jesus I hope this is true, both of the Battlefront games were good and the second was definitely better than the first. Hopefully that translates into an absolutely spectacular 3rd.
